project - Commercial 10 Clinton Chasam Sopher is a synagogue that was originally built in 1853. Shuster Management was introduced to the project when some difficulties arose between the owner and the general contractor. Shuster Management received the opportunity to assist two old time customers (Hank Sopher and Ben Orbach) that have pledged to make this synagogue the project of their lives. We stepped in and restored this existing run-down synagogue through items such as restoring the holy ark, restoring the 150 years old wood floor, we replaced all stained glass, totally modernized lower sanctuary and made it a beautiful hall that can be used for events, all windows were custom made, benches were restored and installed, new lighting and a new HVAC system were installed, we restored the outside roofing, and the landscaping was completely redone. But with all of the changes we managed to maintain the old world charm of the synagogue which reminds people how it looked like years ago. In this job Shuster Management was proud to donate all our management fees to the synagogue.
